How To Apply
All applicants for the M.Tech(JTM) and M.S (Research) programmes need to qualify in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam conducted by the IITs every year and appear for an interview.
All applicants for the MBA(SMT) have to qualify Common Apptitude Test (CAT) and then will be shortlisted and invited for a group discussion and interview, which will be held at IIT Delhi.

Admission Procedure
The procedure for admission to the Bharti School is the same as the admission to other Inter-disciplinary Programs of IIT Delhi and is governed by the same rules and regulations.
The call for admissions appears in leading national newspapers after the declaration of the results of the GATE Exam, typically in the months of March/April with interviews being held in May. Application form can be submitted online from IIT Delhi website. The full-time M.Tech program requires the applicant to have a good score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Usually the School selects the applicants with the best scores and invites them for an interview.
